Breaking Glass Pictures has set the North American release for 10 Kilos, a true‑crime survival thriller inspired by the bestselling memoir of Sharon Yitzhaki. Directed by Doron Eran, the film will debut in select theaters on August 21, 2026, including screenings at New York’s Village East Theatre and Los Angeles’ Lumiere Music Hall. A digital release across major platforms will follow on September 29, 2026.
Synopsis
10 Kilos tells the story of Sharon, a young woman arrested in Bolivia after being found with ten kilos of cocaine. She is sent to the notorious Miraflores prison, a violent and unpredictable environment controlled by inmates rather than guards. Inside its walls, survival depends on navigating cartel influence, shifting alliances, and constant threats. As Sharon confronts brutality and betrayal, she must rely on instinct and resilience to endure a system designed to break her.
