NEON and Universal Pictures International have announced the upcoming special edition 4K Blu‑Ray steelbook release of EPiC: Elvis Presley In Concert, arriving November 3, 2026 in the United States and November 2, 2026 in the UK. Presales begin today. The collectible edition brings Baz Luhrmann’s latest cinematic project home following its successful global theatrical run.
Directed by Baz Luhrmann (Elvis, The Great Gatsby, Moulin Rouge!), the film offers a new way to experience Elvis Presley’s stage presence through restored archival material and enhanced picture and sound.
Festival Debut and Global Performance
Produced by Sony Music Vision, Bazmark, and Authentic Studios, EPiC premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, where audiences responded enthusiastically. The film went on to achieve a strong worldwide box office performance, including setting a record for the highest‑grossing opening weekend for a documentary in IMAX.
Critics praised the film’s energy and presentation. Vogue described it as “a burst of concert‑film adrenaline,” while Variety called it “one of the most exciting concert films you’ve ever seen.” The film currently holds a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, marking the highest critical score of Luhrmann’s career.
About the Film
EPiC: Elvis Presley In Concert incorporates long‑lost footage from Elvis Presley’s 1970s Las Vegas residency, rare 16mm material from Elvis on Tour, and 8mm film from the Graceland archive. The film also includes rediscovered audio recordings of Elvis reflecting on his life and career.
Luhrmann assembles these elements into a feature that presents Elvis in a range of moments — raw, humorous, intimate, and electric — offering a perspective shaped by archival material that had not been widely seen until now.
