Blumhouse Atomic Monster is bringing a new twist to teen horror with THE LAST KISS, a stylized slasher from director and co‑writer Yoko Okumura (Unseen). Known for genre hits like Five Nights at Freddy’s and Obsession, the studio shifts into supernatural territory with a mystery‑driven thriller that blends youthful energy with creeping dread. The film arrives exclusively on digital platforms September 15, 2026, available to watch instantly with no ads or subscription required through Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
The newly released trailer introduces a vivid, high‑contrast world where first love collides with a deadly curse, setting up a story that moves between teen drama, supernatural suspense, and slasher intensity.
ABOUT THE FILM
In THE LAST KISS, Laurel (Mckenna Grace) is ready for the moment she’s imagined her whole life — her first kiss. But instead of magic, she’s confronted with a terrifying revelation: she can see the death of anyone she kisses. When a vision shows her crush caught in a bizarre string of murders targeting her closest friends, Laurel is forced into a dangerous search for the truth. As the threat closes in, she must uncover the killer before the next vision becomes reality. Featuring performances from Mckenna Grace, Jaden Michael, and Arkira Chantaratananond, the film mixes supernatural stakes with slasher momentum in a story where every kiss carries a consequence.
