Buffalo 8 has released the official trailer for Love Loaded, the award-winning mystery thriller from multi-award-winning filmmaker Jan Miller Corran (Snapshots, Concerto for Abigail, The Last Word, Along Came Wanda).
A stylish reimagining of classic 1950s film noir, Love Loaded places complex female characters at the heart of the mystery, offering a fresh perspective on the genre while exploring the question: Can you love two people at the same time?
The film will be available across TVOD and digital platforms throughout North America beginning November 13, 2026.
Set against the smoky nightlife and shadowy streets of 1958 Los Angeles, Love Loaded blends romance, music, suspense, and murder into a classic noir-inspired mystery. Filmed on location in Los Angeles, the production utilizes period-inspired sets and cinematography designed to evoke the atmosphere of vintage Hollywood thrillers.
At the center of the story is torch singer Didi Scanlon, whose captivating presence makes her both admired and feared. When a shocking crime rocks the glamorous Club Figaro, a tangled web of suspects emerges, drawing lovers, rivals, detectives, and desperate dreamers into a dangerous game of deception.
The film had its West Coast premiere at Cinema Diverse Palm Springs and is scheduled to screen at the St. Louis International Film Festival on November 14. The feature has earned multiple festival honors, including awards for Best Feature Film, Best Film Noir, Best Actor/Actress, Best Original Song, and Best Ensemble Cast.
