Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer for Scary Movie, the latest entry in the long‑running parody franchise. Presented by the Wayans Brothers and produced in association with Miramax, the film arrives exclusively in theatres on June 12, 2026.
Twenty‑six years after first escaping a masked killer reminiscent of Ghostface, the Core Four return: Marlon Wayans as Shorty, Shawn Wayans as Ray, Anna Faris as Cindy, and Regina Hall as Brenda. The new film places them back in the crosshairs while skewering every corner of modern horror — reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin‑offs, elevated horror, legacy stories, and every “final chapter” that isn’t final. The Wayans bring their signature style back to lampoon the genre and its cultural trends.
