Apple TV has released the gripping first trailer for Star City, the highly anticipated new space‑race thriller expanding the alt‑history universe of For All Mankind. From award‑winning creators Ben Nedivi, Matt Wolpert, and Ronald D. Moore, the eight‑episode series will premiere globally with two episodes on Friday, May 29, followed by weekly episodes every Friday through July 10.
Star City is a propulsive paranoid thriller that rewinds to a pivotal moment in the reimagined space race — when the Soviet Union became the first nation to land a man on the moon. This time, the story unfolds from behind the Iron Curtain, exploring the lives of cosmonauts, engineers, and the intelligence officers embedded within the Soviet space program. The series examines the extraordinary risks they took, the secrets they carried, and the sacrifices made to push humanity further into the stars.
