Director Dennis Dugan and Adam Sandler have worked together on a good number of movies. Their last one, Grown Ups, was not all that, and I’m a fan of both their work. Something about that movie just didn’t do it for me . . . maybe the lack of story or the use of overused humor and jokes. It was like each of these incredibly talented comedians doing mini stand up routines within the movie which devalued the movie as a whole.
