Amazon MGM Studios has debuted the official trailer, poster, and new images for MADDEN, the new drama from Academy Award–nominated filmmaker David O. Russell. The film will stream globally on Prime Video November 18, following its select theatrical launch on November 11.
Inspired by the life of a beloved American icon, MADDEN chronicles the extraordinary journey of John Madden — from his Super Bowl–winning partnership with the Raiders, to becoming football’s most recognizable voice, to building the worldwide Madden NFL video game franchise.
The film explores Madden’s brilliant mind, his once‑in‑a‑century personality, his lifelong friendship with Al Davis, and the unwavering support of his daring wife Virginia. It is a celebration of a man whose love of people and football transcended the sport itself.
