New Line Cinema’s Mortal Kombat II brings the legendary franchise back to the screen with even higher stakes, brutal combat, and the long‑awaited arrival of Johnny Cage. As Shao Kahn tightens his grip on power, Earthrealm’s defenders face a fight that could determine the fate of their world.

The film features Karl Urban as Johnny Cage, joined by Adeline Rudolph, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Ludi Lin, Mehcad Brooks, Tati Gabrielle, Lewis Tan, Damon Herriman, with Chin Han, Tadanobu Asano as Lord Raiden, Joe Taslim as Bi‑Han, and Hiroyuki Sanada returning as Hanzo Hasashi/Scorpion.

Director Simon McQuoid once again leads the franchise, working from a screenplay by Jeremy Slater, based on the iconic video game created by Ed Boon and John Tobias. The film is produced by Todd Garner, E. Bennett Walsh, James Wan, Toby Emmerich, and Simon McQuoid, with executive producers Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Jeremy Slater, Ed Boon, and Lawrence Kasanoff.
