Apple TV has released the official trailer for season six of Slow Horses, the Emmy and BAFTA Award‑winning espionage drama starring Sir Gary Oldman, who has earned Golden Globe, Emmy, Actor, and BAFTA Award nominations for his performance as Jackson Lamb. The new season is adapted from Joe Country and Slough House, the sixth and seventh novels in Mick Herron’s CWA Gold Dagger Award‑winning Slough House series.

The six‑episode season will premiere globally on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, with one episode released weekly through October 21, 2026.

About Season Six

Slow Horses follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents exiled to Slough House, a department of MI5 reserved for operatives whose career‑ending mistakes have pushed them out of the agency’s inner circle. Gary Oldman returns as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant yet abrasive leader of the group, whose unorthodox methods often place his team in the middle of high‑stakes operations.

Season six finds the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner draws them into a dangerous cycle of retaliation and revenge. With loyalties tested and threats escalating, the team must navigate the shifting landscape of British intelligence while confronting the consequences of their past actions.
