Apple TV has released the trailer for the second season of Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars, the BAFTA Award‑nominated docuseries that pulls back the curtain on the high-pressure world of Michelin‑level dining. Returning on Friday, September 25, 2026, the new season once again follows host Jesse Burgess, Topjaw’s award‑winning food and travel expert, as he steps inside kitchens where ambition, artistry and anxiety collide. The eight‑episode season is executive produced by Gordon Ramsay and Studio Ramsay Global, continuing the series’ commitment to intimate, year‑round access to restaurants chasing the industry’s most coveted honor.
SEASON TWO OVERVIEW
The new season expands its global reach, spotlighting 16 restaurants navigating pivotal crossroads in their Michelin journeys. Each kitchen faces its own version of risk and reinvention: a chef uproots his family to put a remote island on the culinary map; a legendary dynasty splits paths as two generations pursue recognition differently; two chefs surrender their Michelin Star to start over — and have just 52 days to earn it back.
Elsewhere, a daytime sandwich shop transforms into a fine‑dining destination after dark, and a young couple fights to elevate Filipino cuisine in one of America’s most competitive food cities. Despite their wildly different circumstances, every restaurant confronts the same looming uncertainty: Will Michelin reward their vision, or will a year’s worth of sacrifice go unrecognized?
