Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has set release dates for The Breadwinner, starring record‑breaking comedian Nate Bargatze in his first feature film. The movie arrives at home on Digital July 14, followed by Blu‑ray™ and DVD on August 25, each format including over 25 minutes of extra laughs with purchase at select digital retailers.
Bargatze stars as Nate Wilcox, a salesman and devoted dad whose household runs smoothly thanks to his wife Katie (Mandy Moore). When Katie’s clever household invention lands her a once‑in‑a‑lifetime deal on Shark Tank, she heads out on a prolonged business trip — leaving Nate in charge of their comically chaotic home.
As the house begins to unravel, Nate and his three kids learn that while he may not do things the way mom does, he can still figure out how to make it work. The film blends family comedy, relatable parenting humor, and Bargatze’s signature charm in a story about stepping up and embracing the “dad era.”
