Apple TV has released the official trailer for Last Seen, a gripping new Australian thriller led by Gotham Award winner Patrick Brammall. Produced by 60Forty Films, the series is adapted by acclaimed writer and executive producer Kris Mrksa from Ryan David Jahn’s CWA John Creasey Dagger Award‑winning novel The Dispatcher. Emmy Award‑nominated filmmaker Christian Schwochow directs and executive produces the series, which was filmed entirely on location in Victoria, Australia.
Last Seen will premiere globally on Wednesday, September 9, debuting with two episodes, followed by weekly installments every Wednesday through October 7, 2026.
The series follows Ian Ridley (Brammall), a former police detective whose life was shattered 11 years earlier when his young daughter, Maggie, vanished without a trace. Now working as a police dispatcher, Ridley remains consumed by the belief that she is still alive. When he receives a distress call from a teenage girl he is certain is Maggie, Ridley launches into a relentless pursuit — one that threatens to upend his life, his career, and the fragile stability he’s built since her disappearance.
