Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has announced that A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Complete First Season will be released on 4K UHD, Blu‑ray, and DVD on June 16, 2026. The series is based on George R. R. Martin’s novella The Hedge Knight and takes place approximately a century before the events of Game of Thrones.
Set during a period when the Targaryen dynasty still rules Westeros and dragons remain within living memory, the series follows the travels of Ser Duncan the Tall and his young squire, Egg. Their journey brings them into contact with political tensions, rival houses, and the early foundations of conflicts that will shape the realm.
The series stars: Peter Claffey, Dexter Sol Ansell, Daniel Ings, Bertie Carvel, Danny Webb, Sam Spruell, Shaun Thomas, Finn Bennett, Edward Ashley, Tanzyn Crawford, Henry Ashton, Youssef Kerkour, Tom Vaughan‑Lawlor, and Daniel Monks.
