The film follows Tommy (Anson Boon), a 19‑year‑old hooligan who thrives on chaos—drugs, parties, and street violence. After a night out with friends, he becomes separated from the group and is abducted by an unknown figure. He awakens chained in the basement of a suburban family home belonging to Chris (Stephen Graham), his wife Kathryn (Andrea Riseborough), and their young son.
As Tommy struggles to understand why he has been taken, the family begins a disturbing effort to “reform” him. Their methods grow increasingly manipulative and coercive, forcing Tommy to choose between compliance and a desperate attempt to escape.
