Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer and key art for Season One of Elle, the highly anticipated Legally Blonde prequel series. Produced by Amazon MGM Studios in association with Hello Sunshine, the eight‑episode first season premieres July 1, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories. Ahead of the debut, Prime Video has also confirmed a Season Two renewal.

Set in 1995, Elle follows Elle Woods long before her Harvard Law days, introducing her as a high‑schooler navigating complicated friendships, first love, and bold fashion choices. Through every challenge, Elle leans on her family—especially her mother—as she begins to grow into the confident, optimistic young woman audiences know and love.

Created by Laura Kittrell (High School, Insecure), the series is co‑showrun and executive produced by Kittrell and Caroline Dries. Executive producers also include Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter, Amanda Brown, Marc Platt, and Brad Van Arragon. Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect) directs the first two episodes and serves as an executive producer. Julia Brownell and Eli Wilson Pelton are co‑executive producers, with Josie Craven and Jen Regan as supervising producers, and Bryan J. Raber and Asmita Paranjape as producers.

The cast is led by Lexi Minetree as Elle Woods, with June Diane Raphael as her mother Eva and Tom Everett Scott as her father Wyatt. Additional cast includes Jacob Moskovitz, Gabrielle Policano, Chandler Kinney, Zac Looker, and Amy Pietz, with recurring appearances by Brad Harder, Chloe Wepper, Danielle Chand, David Burtka, James Van Der Beek, Jessica Belkin, Kayla Maisonet, Lisa Yamada, Logan Shroyer, Matt Oberg, and Sharon Taylor.
