About the Director
Brock Bodell is a lifelong horror fan and genre filmmaker raised in Tennessee, with a career spanning New York City, Los Angeles, and Berlin as a commercial and feature‑film editor. His work explores characters who operate in the grey and worlds that blur the line between dreams and reality. Bodell’s love of horror and writing began in the early ’90s with childhood rewrites of Are You Afraid of the Dark? episodes. His recent work includes the festival‑favorite short GRIEF and his debut feature — the Shudder Original HELLCAT.
