Blumhouse, Atomic Monster, and Screen Gems have released the official trailer and poster for Insidious: Out of the Further, the next chapter in the long‑running horror franchise arriving exclusively in movie theaters August 21, 2026.
With the Insidious series having earned more than $740 million worldwide, the franchise returns with a new story centered on a young mother, Gemma (Amelia Eve), who moves back into the house she grew up in. There, she discovers she can enter The Further, the purgatorial realm of lost souls that has defined the series since its beginning.
But her ability comes with a devastating twist: Gemma can bring entities from The Further back into the real world. Once the demons realize what she can do, the boundary between realms collapses—and our world becomes theirs to invade.
