Independent Film Company has released the official trailer for CHUM, a shark‑infused survival thriller starring Alice Eve (Star Trek Into Darkness, Cult Killer, Haunting of the Queen Mary). The film opens in theaters and on VOD/Digital Platforms on June 5, 2026.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Malta, CHUM follows a dream destination wedding that erupts into chaos when a bloodthirsty shark attacks the celebration. But the terror doesn’t end in the water — a sinister fisherman with a hidden agenda traps the wedding party between open sea and a relentless human predator.
As secrets surface and loyalties fracture, the newlyweds must confront the cracks in their relationship while fighting to survive both the elements and the horrors closing in around them.
