Considered by many to be the best superhero movies ever made, how could Christopher Nolan top it yet again? Well my fellow Batmaniacs, he does . . . or at least it is as good as either of the other two. Christopher Nolan can make a movie! To call this movie epic is an understatement. It almost leaves me speechless, almost. Batman is back and with more purpose than ever before. A dreary sensation of hopelessness will fall upon you during this film to the point of creating a sense of doubt as to if Batman can save the day. It’s awesome!<< READ FULL THE DARK KNIGHT RISES REVIEW >>

Under the general direction of Nick Fury, the Avenger Initiative is finally a reality. Finally! It was very much worth the wait. What a movie, what an adventure, what an experience! Sure The Dark Knight can easily be considered to be the best superhero movie ever made only to be equaled potentially by Dark Knight Rises, but damn this is the best for pure adrenaline rush and overall excitement especially watching all these nostalgic comic book characters working together. I always take my handy little notebook with me to take notes as I watch a screening. Well, this time it was almost pointless because I didn’t take a single note during the movie, partly because it was extra dark where I was sitting and mostly because my eyes were not coming off the screen.<< READ FULL MARVEL’S THE AVENGERS REVIEW >>
3.LINCOLN

This film could not have been set up any better and few films deserve it as much as this one. For starters, a movie like this deserves to be directed by Steven Spielberg. Abraham Lincoln deserves to be played by a multiple Oscar winning actor such as Daniel Day-Lewis and similarly Mary Todd Lincoln deserves to be played by a multiple Oscar winning actress such as Sally Field. In the midst of all the political turmoil and the current condition of our beloved country, the timing for this movie could not have been better also. This film gives us an accurate and realistic glimpse at the last few months of one of the most loved and cherished Presidents of the United States, then and still today.<< READ FULL LINCOLN REVIEW >>

It is a love story. It is a story of station. It is a story of life defining choices. It is a story of survival. It is a story of redemption, full of faith. Faith is the underlying current and theme of this glorious film. It is entrancing, grandiose, and, oh yeah, in case you didn’t know, it is 99.9% sung. Yes, this is a full musical masterpiece. For that reason, this movie is geared more for mature audiences and I don’t mean in age. The title of this ageless story really says it all and very well describes the majority of the characters in it. In this big screen version we find a cast that successfully interpreted the true spirit of this tale and transmits that spirit to the audience. From the commencement, Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean mesmerizes with a look we have never seen him have before.<< READ FULL LES MISERABLES REVIEW >>
