Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced that the eighth and final season of Outlander will be released on Collector’s Edition Blu‑ray™ and DVD on September 22, 2026. Based on Diana Gabaldon’s bestselling novels — more than 50 million copies sold worldwide — the long‑running series concludes the story of Claire and Jamie Fraser, portrayed by Caitríona Balfe and Sam Heughan.
Season 8 features ten episodes and brings the saga to its emotional close. After years spent fighting for the American cause in the Revolutionary War, Jamie and Claire return to Fraser’s Ridge, where new arrivals and shifting alliances challenge the community they call home. Meanwhile, Brianna and Roger MacKenzie return with information from the future that carries dangerous implications for the Frasers and the Ridge. As threats escalate, the family must confront what they are willing to sacrifice to protect their home — and each other.
The ensemble cast includes Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin, John Bell, David Berry, Charles Vandervaart, Izzy Meikle‑Small, Lauren Lyle, and César Domboy.
