Bulldog Film Distribution has released the official trailer for Over/Under, a heartfelt coming‑of‑age drama executive produced by Cooper Raiff (Cha Cha Real Smooth, Hal & Harper). The film will be available digitally in the UK & Ireland from 24 August, and in the US & Canada from 25 August.
Set in the summer of 2002, the story follows nine‑year‑old best friends Violet and Stella, whose days are filled with ocean waves, butterfly hunts, fairy wishes, and the kind of imaginative adventures that define childhood. When summer ends, the girls return to their separate lives — and the challenges of growing up begin to reshape their once‑inseparable bond.
As the years pass, Violet faces bullying and the confusion of a changing body, while Stella drifts toward new friends and interests. Puberty, boys, family trauma, and the pressure to fit in all threaten the magic of their friendship. Over/Under explores innocence, the loss of innocence, and the fragile beauty of childhood connections.
